Hermosa Beach Home

Moving West from London to Southern California was a major transition. Susanne wanted to
bring the outside indoors on this project. Using nature’s warm organic materials of Mahogany,
Limestone, Onyx, Luxurious Mohairs, and Linens to dress the home to create simple elegance.
The design of the home stretched beyond the safe and traditional and took risks of deep
cantilevers to span and create open floor plans to connect all the elements of nature from
garden to reach towards the sea.
